Anglo-American University is the oldest private university in the Czech Republic.
📍It’s situated in the beautifully restored baroque Thurn-Taxis palace of 17th century in Malá Strana, Prague 1, with direct exit to the Vojanovy Gardens.

📖 AAU offers 17 undergraduate and graduate programs (in English ❗️) to students from over 70 countries across the world (for example: Business Administration, Politics and Society, Visual Art Studies, International Relations, etc.) Scholarships are available.
AAU has an American and European accreditation, a degree from AAU is recognized around the world.

👥🗣 There are 16 small (with an average of just 15 students per class) fully-equipped, modern classrooms, a computer lab and a visual arts studio along with a café, spacious courtyard, and modern student lounges.

☕️ You’ll find here @cafedestaxis, which is very popular among students and staff: for example they organize here discussing clubs between students and professors of AAU. ✅ Everyone can visit this cafe as well: staff speaks English, atmosphere is friendly and prices are reasonable (for example, cappuccino – 42 czk, tea – 35 czk, soup – 35 czk, salad – 45 czk).

📚📖 AAU’s Library houses the largest English-language book collection of any private university in Prague. The AAU library is open to all members of the AAU community free of charge ✅ But everyone is allowed come here to read a book/periodicals/newspaper in English free of charge (except borrowing them from the library).
