Prague districts with locals: Záběhlice/Spořilov – Prague 4 with Alena @vaganova_mom

Alena’s 3 favorite places:
💦🐟🌿 Hamerský pond (rybník)
Originally, the pond was built as a water source for copper hammers. Now its purpose is mostly recreational. The water is not suitable for swimming or drinking. The surroundings is a popular walking place, also good for running and bicycling. In winter, the frozen pond is used for ice skating ⛸.
The pond is also used for extensive fish farming 🐟🐟🐟: there are 200-400 thousands of carp and pike (btw, fishing 🎣 is prohibited here).

🏓⛹️♀️🤾♂️🧘♀️🎾 HAMR sport center
It’s a very popular place among citizens of Prague 4 and Prague 10.
There are 9 tennis courts, an artificial football field, 5 beach volleyball courts, 1 court for volleyball, etc. The multifunctional hall includes badminton courts and sports facilities for floorball and other sports.
Moreover there’s a big children’s corner where you can leave your children while you go to fitness, for example.
My son has been attending tennis lessons here, and he likes it very much.
⠀
🍷🥂🍾 Wine cellar
One of my favorite places here is this wine cellar. They have a wonderful choice of wine and soon there will be “burčak” (young wine) as well.
