Prague districts with locals: Prague 6 with Zuzana @praguestagirl, a popular Czech blogger.
⠀
Zuzana’s 5 favorite places:
⠀
1️⃣ Vítězné náměstí
“The nickname of this square is “Kulat’ák” because it’s a big roundabout.
There’s a Czech Technical University, Ministry of Defense with the Memorial to Czechoslovak soldiers from II. World War, and a lot of great cafes and shops.
Šest’ák is one of the popular places here. You can play piano🎹 or ping pong🏓, or drink something 🍸☕️.”
⠀
2️⃣ Mural by Pasta Oner
“This mural by @pastaoner was painted in 2012. It should be here for a limited time, but citizens of Prague 6 liked it very much, so this mural is still here.”
⠀
3️⃣ Observation point and ruins Baba
“From this place you can see Prague 6, Prague 7 with the Zoo, treatment facilities and unusual view on the Prague Castle 😍
I’ve visited ruins Baba from my childhood, because I lived here in the neighborhood.
It’s not clear what exactly it was: chapel or remains of a vineyard.
You can also see a ferry crossing Vltava 🌊 to the Zoo and back to Prague 6.”
⠀
4️⃣ Divoká Šárka
“This place is perfect for relaxing, it’s a real piece of nature 🌳, and it’s still Prague 6.
I like this place very much because there’re not a lot of tourists, you may enjoy amazing views on the whole Prague.
Most of all I like to watch sunsets 🌅 from this place.”
⠀
5️⃣ Restaurant U Veverky
“It’s one of the most popular restaurants 🍽 in Prague 6. They have wonderful “svíčková” here.”
