🌳 Park on the Karlín Square
A big city park created from the second half of the 19th century, with a lot of cafes around, a big playground for children and the central dominant – the Church of St Cyril and Methodius.

💒 Church of St Cyril and Methodius
The Roman Catholic church is constructed in the style of late Neo-Romanesque basilica in the mid-19th century.

🎪 Kasarna Karlín
Unique cultural and social place, which offers a theater performances, a summer cinema, a playground, sport activities and a cafe.

🎭 Musical theater Karlín
Built in 1881, it is devoted primarily to operetta perfomances. It is the second largest theatre in Prague, after the State Opera.

🛤 The Negrelli Viaduct
This is the first Prague railway bridge over the Vltava river and at present the second most ancient Prague bridge across Vltava. Now it’s under the total reconstruction.

Modern art galleries used for exhibitions, theater performances and other presentations.

🏢 Danube House
One of the most famous office centers in Prague. The building has the shape of a giant ship.

🚶♂️Karlín tunnel
It’s also known as a Žižkov tunnel. The length of the tunnel is 303 m, width is about 4,5 m. Now it’s a pedestrian and bicycle tunnel, but originally, it should be used as an anti-aircraft cover.

📻🎙 Czech Radio (Český rozhlas Regina DAB)
It is located in the National House in Karlín, built as a place for meetings and cultural uses by local citizens. Near the building you’ll find a garden, a cafe and a summer cinema. @ceskyrozhlas

🌳 Park Kaizlovy sady
Originally this space was used as a military shooting range. Park was created here in 1901 and it was named after Josef Kaizel, an economist and a politician.

🏛 Invalidovna
It was built from 1731-1737 as a dormitory for war invalids (veterans), then an army archive. The building was damaged by a large flood in 2002. The building currently awaits a reconstruction.

🌊 Ferry terminal
It connects Prague 8 with Prague 7 (from Rohanský ostrov to Pražská tržnice).
