The first exhibition by the acclaimed American filmmaker, cinematographer and artist Arthur Jafa in the Czech Republic. Jafa has developed a dynamic and multi-disciplinary practice comprising films, artefacts and happenings, trying to answer the question how culture perfoms identity and race. A carnival parade will start at 15.45 at the crossroad Bělohorská-Pod Královkou (Moje kredenc shop) and then walk through Břevnov. The programme will contineu at KC Kaštan.
Costume parade will start on Jiřího z Poděbrad square at 17:00, leading through Žižkov and Vinohrady (incl. Havlíčkovo square) in front of the Viktoria Žižkov stadium. Everyone who will participate at the parade in a costume will be given free Czech specialities (blood or liver sausages or pork-based aspic).
At the biggest travellers festival in Czech Republic visitors can see the traveller's presentation, enjoy photo workshop, try exotic food and meet with over 100 different presenters. Only some exceptional programs are in English.
